This 7 Nights 8 days LKenya Safari is a traditional seven-night safari visiting Samburu, home to unique wildlife, followed by the Rift Valley Lakes where thousands of pink flamingoes often tint the horizon to the Masai Mara where vast numbers of plains game and spectacular big cats abide. This itinerary starts in the Aberdares Range followed by Samburu, home to some of the most unique wildlife in Kenya and a host of birds. Your stay is at the deluxe Ashnil Samburu Camp, spread out along the shady banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River, under a thick stand of doum palms and acacia trees that are a feature of the area.
Safari route takes you to Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru where thousands of pink flamingoes tint the horizon. Around the lake a game reserve has been created where the endangered black rhino is protected and may be seen along with antelope, giraffes, lions and hyenas.

Finally, the magnificent Masai Mara, famed for its vast numbers of plains game and the spectacular big cats. Here you stay in the luxury Ashnil Mara Camp, which offers an unrivalled position for wildlife spotting, and is close to the action during the annual wildebeest migration.

Day 1 Monday Aberdares
On arrival at the the Airport, you will be picked up by one of our safari specialist /Private tour guide who will then drive you to our office in the central business center, you can freshen in one of our partner hotels/ Accommodation facilities, freshen up and store any additional luggage before departing for the Aberdares (180 km – approximately 4 hours). Arrive in time for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing, or on a nature walk with the resident naturalist (weather permitting).

Day 2 Exploring Samburu National game reserve.
Drive north across the equator to the Samburu National Reserve (190 km – approximately 4 hours). Lunch before a late afternoon game drive.

Day 3 Samburu Game reserve at its best.
Morning and late afternoon game drives in this open savannah which is traversed by the Ewaso Nyiro River. The river is populated by hippos and crocodiles, whilst the park is home to a host of animals including several species which are rarely seen in numbers elsewhere, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffes and long-necked gerenuks.

Day 4: Samburu – Aberdares Rangers
Drive to your lodge in time for lunch (240 km – approximately 4 hours). Spend the afternoon viewing game from the lodge, or join a nature walk led by a local guide (payable locally and weather permitting).

Day 5 Aberdares – Lake Nakuru/naivasha

After breakfast, descend into the Great Rift Valley and continue to Lake Nakuru Lodge (240 km – approximately 4 hours). Lunch. Afternoon game drive in the national park. Drive to Lake Naivasha (80 km – approximately 1 hour).

Day 6 Lake Naivasha/ Lake NAkuru – Masai Mara National game reserve.
Drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve (320 km – approximately 5.5 hours). Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive.

Day 7 : Full day Game drive exploring the Masai Mara reseve/ Big 5 Trailing
Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. Alternatively, take an early morning balloon flight over the Mara followed by a ‘bubbly’ bush breakfast (optional extra). After lunch, relax before a late afternoon game drive.

Day 8 Monday Depart

DAY 0; 15th Aug : NAIROBI ARRIVAL
Upon your arrival in Nairobi, You will be met and received by our Nairobi Airport representative plus the driver who will then transfer you to your hotel of a apartment as you will advise, this depend on your time of arrival. DAY1; 16th Aug: NAIROBI / SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
After early breakfast,drive north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve, arriving Samburu in time for lunch, after lunch, relax before a late afternoon game drive. Samburu game reserve is very beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by Ewaso Nyiro River. It is also one of Kenya’s most protected areas and home to species only found north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe to Grevy’s zebras and Beisa oryxes. DAY 2 SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Before dawn we head out in search of Africa’s wild cats and other animals like reticulated giraffe, dik dik, grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra and blue-necked Somali ostrich. After game drive return to the lodge for breakfast and relax in the lodge, you can sunbathe and go for a refreshing dip in the uniquely designed swimming pool before heading out again on your afternoon game drive. DAY3: SAMBURU / OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
After breakfast, we drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. We visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhino with its stunning forty specimens. Ol pejeta boasts for its excellent game viewing with the highest ratio of game to area of any park or reserve in Kenya. Moreover, the camp has its own private waterhole and salt lick so we’ll be guaranteed unprecedented close encounters. Whether its day or night game drives, camel trekking, lion tracking, dining or relaxing by pool, Sweetwater’s is bound to delight. Night game drive is optional though and cost 120 usd per head.

The park is famous for birdlife especially flamingos and home to bushbuck, wart hog, leopard, and rare Rothschild giraffe. Have afternoon game drive in the park. DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU / MASAI MARA
After breakfast depart overland to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve-jewel of Kenya’s Game Park. The Masai Mara is Kenya’s finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well spread rainfall year round. The sensation of the great wildebeest migration between July and October is unparalleled. The wildlife is far from being confined within the Reserve boundaries and an even larger area extends beyond the game Reserve. Centuries of close association with the wildlife has resulted in an almost symbiotic relationship where wildlife and Maasai people live in peace with one another.

DAY 6 & 7: MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
After breakfast, have a morning game drive in search for wild animals. You will drive to the famous Mara River in search of hippos and crocodiles; between July and September, there is the Great Migration of the Wildebeest from Serengeti plains to Masai Mara through Mara River. This annual event was named as one of the Seven New Wonders of the World. Enroute you will also see the Kenya-Tanzania border that marks one side of the Mara Triangle. DAY 8 MASAI MARA / NAIROBI
Have an early morning game drive and then return to the camp for breakfast. This is the best time to have game drives since the animals both nocturnal and diurnal are active before the sun sends them off under the shades. Lunch in Nairobi or if you take the by pass, have lunch at mlolongo area and proceed to Amboseli National park if time permit, Have an evening game drive in the park/Evening game drive enroute to the camp.

Day 5: Full day Exploring Photographers Paradise(Amboseli National Park)

Day 7: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National park

Morning game drives at Lake Manyara national park Lake Manyara is a shallow, alkaline lake that is part of the Rift Valley wallbefore proceeding to Serengeti national park with packed lunches. Game is viewed as we proceed to Serengeti Seronera Wildlife lodge for overnight stay camp for budget camping.

Day 8-9: Serengeti National park

Days spent exploring the vast park rich with abundant wildlife. You also visit the northern part of the park Seronera with an opportunity of seeing the annual wildebeest migration. Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti seronera wildlife Lodge or Katai kati camp.

Day 10: Ngorongoro- crate tour

Ascend the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge camp for budget camping. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called Africas Eden and the 8th Natural Wonder of the World a visit to the crater is a main draw card for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction.

Day 11: Ngorongoro -Arusha- Nairobi

Breakfast and then at 0830 hrs drive back to Arusha via some Curio shops and have lunch enroute to arrive in the early evening. Since the trip ends late in the evening, Its advisable to have a night in Arusha and then catch up the Arusha Shuttle bus back to Nairobi arriving by 14:00 hrs. Historically teaming with wildlife, the Mara is famous for the large herds of elephant and buffalo that meander its plains; also for the fat pods of hippo that wallow in its mud-brown rivers. Other stars include the distinctive Maasai giraffe, plum-colored topi, Coke’
s hartebeest, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelle, zebra, impala, Kirk’s dik-dik, bush buck, water buck and red duiker. The Reserve also boasts plentiful Nile crocodile, monitor lizard, baboon, vervet, blue and red-t
ailed monkeys, nocturnal bush babies, and tree hyrax. There are over 550 resident and migratory species of birds. Meals and overnight at the mara sidan camp or any of similar.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Isebania to Serengeti National Park

We the lodge soon after breakfast and drive through the southern part of the reserve viewing game as we proceed to theKenya Lodge Safaris Tanzanian border at Isebania / Sirari. Proceed to Serengeti national park with packed lunches enroot – game is viewed as we proceed to seronera camp for dinner and overnight stay Sleeping bag provided.

Day 5 Serengeti National park

Day spent exploring the vast park rich with abundant wildlife Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti seronera camp/ Kati Kati Luxury tented safari camp.

Serengeti is Africa’s most fahoneymoon-safaris-7mous and Tanzania’s largest park covering 14,736 sq km and is adjoining with the Masai Mara National reserve in Kenya. With a wildebeest population of about 2 million and several other hoofed species (which include zebra, Thomson’s gazelle, impala, topi, Grants gazelle, Kongoni, Eland, Kirk’s dik dik, klipspringer, roan, Oryx, oribi, waterbuck, buffalo, giraffe and warthog), the Serengeti is sure to attract a string of prey such as lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, golden jackals and bat eared foxes. Elephants are relatively scarce and the few remaining black rhinoceros are restricted to the Moru Koppies area.

Serengeti also offers rewarding bird viewing with ostrich and kori bustard being common, a variety of larks, finches, and raptors can be seen but the most distinctive small bird is the lilac breasted roller.

Day 6: Serengeti –Ngorongoro Crater.

We view game as we drive southeast up into the magnificent Ngorongoro crater .Stop over at The Olduvai Gorge with picnic lunch en route Over at the Olduvai where we spend the night at the Ngorongoro simpa camp (Sleeping bangs provided).

The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is home of Ngorongoro Crater. It was formed some 2.5 million years ago from a volcanic mountain sinking due to inactivity, and was initially thought to be higher than Tanzania’s famous Kilimanjaro. The crater has evolved into a unique and integral part of Tanzania’s eco-system. The crater is actually a caldera, measures 22.5 km’s across and the rim walls stand 600m high. Views from within and from the rim are breathtaking (as can be seen from the picture). The crater houses 30,000 animals and a large variety of birds, which rarely move from the area due to the availability of water through wet and dry seasons

Day 7 : Ngorongoro – Arusha Amboseli

Morning game drive and then depart for Amboseli National park. Dinner and over night at Amboseli Kibo luxury tented camp/AA loge or Kimanacamp for budget camping safari accommodation.

Day 8: Amboseli National Park

Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drive (optional visits to Masai village). All meal and overnight at safari Camp or lodge

Amboseli National park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya. It is situated close to Kenya- Tanzania border, The Park lies at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa (5,896m) whose snow-capped summit presents a splendid view on clear days. Amboseli National Park is often referred to as “The home of Elephants’ some of the largest Elephant herds are found here. The Game Park also contains vast groups of Zebras, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Buffalos, Hippos and Antelopes. Also to be found in Amboseli are lions, leopards, Cheetahs, Rhinos and many species of plain gamed through thousands of meters of volcanic rock from Mount Kilimanjaro. Animal species seen include elephant, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala and leopard. The birdlife seen here includes pelican, bee eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle and pygmy falcon

Day 9: Amboseli – Nairobi

Early morning game drive, back to the lodge/camp for breakfast and then exit for Nairobi with lunch enroute arriving in Nairobi by evening around 16:30pm with airport drop off (optional dinner at carnivore restaurant.)
